Camie, We just wanted to get you a quick update on Sally. We also wanted to return the favor and send some pictures to you. I’ve included a couple of “Sally only” pics, and a few more of her with the baby. We really did appreciate getting the pictures over the last month. It has been on of the extras that has meant a lot to us. The drive back went very well. Sally sat in everyone’s lap and took a couple of naps along the way. We took one rest stop along the way and Sally played chase with the kids. They had a blast. Once we got back we headed straight for our back yard. Within a few minutes, Sally found a bathroom spot. House training was one of our worries, but Sally has yet to have an accident (knock wood). In fact, this afternoon she got her welcome home bath. Just a few minutes after getting dried off, she started whimpering. We went outside and she went straight to the bathroom. She has also adapted really well. She has adjusted to her cave (plastic crate) and rarely whimpers to get out. She went the entire night without us hearing so much as a peep. She has joined us on several walks and stays right with the crowd. Interestingly this afternoon on our walk she wanted to be just behind the crowd, kind of like she wanted to make sure everyone was ok. Several times when we stopped the baby stroller, she would come right up beside it and sit. She would not move an inch until we started the stroller rolling. We’ll continue to keep in touch and once again, thank you. Tommy and Mary Beth..(Below is Sally)....
If you want to see the full story of Benjamin; on Dailydog.com..click here- http://dailypuppy.com/index.php?itemid=940 Benjamin the Golden Retriever by Michael 03/13/07 UPDATE!! Benjamin's mommy, Stephanie Segall..Emailed me some new picture's and wrote: Hi Camie! Benjamin is doing great! He is the sweetest boy ever. He is my constant companion and comes in to work with me. Because I work with dogs, he has many playmates and makes new friends every day. He graduated from puppy kindergarten last month and is doing great with his training. He was so easy to housebreak, and he loves his crate so much that he often chooses to spend the night in it instead of on the bed with us. In late spring, Benny got to go on his first vacation - to the beach! He isn't a big fan of swimming yet, be loves to wade. He is now 5 months old and 40 pounds. He has brought us nothing but smiles. We couldn't ask for a better dog. ![]() I just received this email from Stephanie.....FRIST NEWSPAPER & NOW BENJAMIN IS ON T.V! I'm so proud!!!http://www.cbsnews.com/sections/i_video/main500251.shtml?id=2891798n The charity the company I work for created was featured on the CBS Early Show, and Benny was filmed at one of our fundraisers. You can see him halfway through the video when they say "to mix and mingle". ![]() ![]() ![]() Chatham;s mommy wrote: I have a now 10-wk old female from Honey and Zip, her name is Chatham and she is a sweet, smart and sassy blond! She loves everyone, especially kids, and plays well with all the dogs in the neighborhood. Church Mountain was well worth the drive, Camie takes good care of her dogs, answers all your questions, provides complete documentation and records, and it was great getting to meet both parents and see such happy dogs romping in the yard. Chloe (Maggie and Zip) was only home for two days when we opened the puppy tennis balls and started throwing them around to see what she would do. To our amazement, on the second toss she retrieved the ball! We did this several times and she did what a good Golden should; she watched, waited for it to settle, then happily trotted off after it and returned it to us. She is a beautiful puppy, so full of life, and she is extremely smart. Molly, Kelsey (our other older Golden), and I are so happy to have her with us. Thank you for breeding such wonderful puppies. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Above ~ "RUGER"...This is what Ruger's dad Michael had to say about Church Mountain.. Our search for Ruger lead us over 3 states meeting with different breeders and hands down Camie's dogs were the best we found. We began talking to Camie when Ruger was 5 days old and the attention and patience she showed us through out the process is second to none. All of our emails were answered quikly and she sent tons of pics giving updates. Ruger is a beautiful puppy from Zoey and Jake and everything I hoped he would be. Thank You so much Camie for our newest baby! -Michael Below is Sabastian(Ruger's big brother). Sabastian did not come from Church Mountain..but I fell in love this this photo, and the beauty of him..so I had to show off Ruger's big brother on his 6th B'day! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ""BELOW"" - Is "SLAPSHOT" - Slap Shots first trip by water. Departed out of Woodbridge Virginia and arrived in Ocean City Maryland. It took a full day and a half. The bodies of waters he crossed was the Potomac River, Chesapeake Bay, Deleware River, Delaware Canal and then in the Atlantic Ocean. HAAA! Hi Camie, he was a great first mate :-). Not too crazy about the water yet....he likes to run up to the waves, get silly and bark at them. I guess that will change in time. Hope all is well with you all :-) and hope to hear from you soon.
